Dr Pendoley’s presentation voted in top five at SLSC 2017

Last week Dr Kellie Pendoley was invited to give a presentation at the Street Lighting and Smart Controls (SLSC) 2017 Conference in Brisbane. The presentation was titled:

"The impacts of artificial lighting on human and ecological health"

Voted in the top five at the conference, the talk presented the flip side of uncontrolled LED lighting, describing the potential impacts on human and ecological health.

The SLSC Program, run by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), was developed to measurably increase the deployment of LED lighting and smart controls in Australasia. The Program is supported by the Australian Department of the Environment and Energy, major industry leaders and peak industry organisations.
